Yay! The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has announced it is withdrawing planned national strike action on the 12 and 14 November 2022. So on these dates, post will go out like normal.

However....The CWU announced they will be notifying Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 November and for Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2022. 

Royal Mail have not yet received formal notification of these new dates. The CWU has to provide 14 days’ notice before they can take any strike action.

This means there may be a wee delay to any orders placed around these dates, including lampshade orders as Parcelforce and Royal Mail are both affected. We will be posting out orders around these dates as frequently as possible, however we cannot predict how delayed any orders will be once they are in the postage system.
